The end goal is get more customers to the dealership, and to do that the build and price tool needs to educate the user on Kia products through a premium engaging experience, while aligning with Kia’s stakeholder expectations.
I led the visual design of the entire experience, including design exploration, interaction design, and development handoff.

Determining your vehicle.
The user can get to the Build and Price tool through a few entry points. We’re able to track that information and drop the user at the optimal point in the flow.
Choosing you look and feel.
The user can toggle through the various combinations and quickly see the selections represented in the vehicle shown.
Finishing their build and getting them down the funnel.
Throughout the experience the user can easily see their summary and the payment calculator that display both the overall cost and the recommended lease terms. At the end of the flow, if the user completes a build, all the details about the vehicle they built will be sent to the dealer to help bridge the gap at the dealership or the user can explore the online EasyBuy inventory.

Preparing for handoff.
We split the design handoff in to 3 development sprints. Once the final designs were approved by stakeholders, I built out the remaining 5 breakpoints and interactive prototypes to help communicate the expected responsive designs. We closely annotated each flow to clearly indicate to the outsourced dev team on what action and animations were expected.
